Fast And Furious
It's been almost 3 months since I last put up a post. Many things had happened. I start to play online games (I've been an anti-online gamer) starting with Gunz, I've been training real hard in my favourite Need For Speed: Most Wanted game, waited for an insanely long time for the game Racedriver Grid to launch, start to learn to shuffle (this style of dance is getting really popular in my school now) and (finally!) stopped playing Initial D for more than 4 months! It's like an addiction I couldn't cure when I started playing Initial D, so I really have to say it was an achievement for me to finally stop playing. Also, I met up with a couple of my good old pals (Hey, what's up dude!) so it really rounded off my very good 3 months disappearance on my blog.

Happy News!
YAY!! I finally got my new computer! After using my old Gateway computer for nearly 7 years, I finally got a new computer. The old Gateway was a disappointment to me, as I could not play the latest games that I like due to its aged Intel Pentium 3 processor, Microsoft Windows ME operating system and integrated Intel graphic card. But never mind, I was still grateful as it helped me to learn more about IT stuff. Bye Gateway, I will miss you. Now to the new computer, I had it custom made. It has a Asus P5K-SE/EPU motherboard, a Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 processor, Microsoft Windows XP Professional Edition operating system (you might think why I did not get Vista, then you must know that Vista is still unstable eventhough at had came out for about a year, and the availability of the Service Pack 1 for it was greeted with bad reviews), 2GB worth of RAM, a Western Digital 250GB SATA hard disk and Asus EN8600GT Magic graphic card (this is imported, as Malaysia doesn't have the Magic version). I had originally intended to get the Asus P5K-SE motherboard and Intel Core 2 Duo E8200 processor combo, but because the shop I went to does not have this combo, they gave me the ones stated above. What luck! :-D

Undead Love
It all started
On boy's first day at school
Joining his primary school friends
On the very same day
It was also girl's birthday
Boy's friends joke at girl;
"Hey, your 'birthday present' is here!"
Girl got shy and replied;
"Wei, I got boyfriend already lah."
Boy couldn't care much about the joke
And gave his friends a grim face.
For the next few days
Boy begins to develope feelings for girl
But he know he can't get her
So he told his best friend about it
But friend accidentally said it out
And girl found out about it
During recess, girl approaches boy and asked;
"You like me, don't you?"
Boy got furious with his friend
And quickly said;
"No." And coolly walked away
A kind of disappointment hit girl
For she likes him too
And had broken up with her boyfriend.
One night,
Girl confesses everything to her parents
Hoping that they will understand her
But they objected to her relationship with boy.
As the saying goes;
"Words can cut where knives can't"
That is just how girl felt after that
She went into her own room
And started crying quietly to herself.
Later in the midnight
Girl called boy
"Hello?" boy answered in a sleepy voice
"Hello. It's me," girl replied, sobbing softly
"Oh, hey! Why'd you call me this late?" boy asks
".... I just want you to know that I love you," she answered
"Huh? Why are you telling me this? And why are you crying?" he asked in surprise
But she had hung up the phone.
A creepy feeling comes to boy
Boy started thinking;
"Why would she tell me all this, and why is she crying?"
Suddenly, an answer came
An answer which he dread would happen
So he rushed over to girl's house.
When boy arrived
Everyone was already sleeping
He quietly crept into girl's room
And found her lying on a blood-soaked bed
A blade was found in her hand and her wrist cut
She had commited suicide
Boy then fell onto his knees and burst into tears.
"Why did you do this?" he asks
He then took the blade from her hand
And cut his own wrist
The next morning
Girl's parents woke up
And found boy and girl
Lying next to each other on the bed in girl's room
They were holding each other's hand, dead
A blade with blood stains was found in boy's hand
Then girl's parents found a note on the bedside table
The note, apparently written by boy, says
"I LOVE YOU FOREVER. NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS, I WILL ALWAYS BE WITH YOU"

CJ7
I happened to watch "CJ7" at a relative's house today. It was so hilarious!! Stephen Chow's trademark comedy is still there. There were some scenes where the idea came from Chow's previous show, "Kung Fu Hustle". "CJ7" tells the story of poor labourer Ti and his son, Dicky (Xu-Jiao) who lives in a rundown shack. Ti alwyas scour around a garbage dump site looking for everyday items to use at home. Being unable to buy his son a present (he uses all his money to pay his son's school fees), Ti manages to find a toy for Dicky at the dump site. But the thing is the 'toy' is actually an alien (whom Dicky named as CJ7). They plan to make a living from the alien, but it has other plans instead. At the end of the day, this show comes out more as a heart-warming movie for the family than as a slapstick comedy Stephen Chow is well-known for.

Happy Chinese New Year And Have A Good "Kung Fu Dunk"
Happy Chinese New Year to all Chinese! Today I went to Mid Valley to watch "Kung Fu Dunk". I was quite surprised to find out that the was not much people watching this show. I guess most choose to watch Stepehn Chow's "CJ7". "Kung Fu Dunk" stars Jay Chou (my idol), Bo-Lin Chen, Baron Chen, Eric Tsang and Charlene Choi (of Hong Kong's 'Twins' duo fame) and is directed by Kevin Chu. The story goes as Fang Shi-Jie (Jay Chou) is an orphan who grows up in a martial arts school. Unexpectedly, he shows his marvellous skills of slam-dunk. His talent was discovered by Wang-Li (Eric Tsang), who plans to use him to make money. So, on the pretext of helping him to find his family, Wang-Li invited him to play basketball at First University. After joining the basketball team, Shi-Jie found out that Li-Li (Charlene Choi), the girl whom he had admired for a long time is actually the sister of Ting-Wei (Bo-Lin Chen) the basketball team's captain. Shi-Jie was desperate to draw her attention. Therefore, he attempted to compete with Xiao-Lan (Baron Chen), who is Li-Li's idol, which made the basketball team lapse into an unstable atmosphere. During the process, the conflicts between each other had been sorted out after the counsel of Ting-Wei. Meanwhile, he helped Shi-Jie combine the foundation of kung-fu into the basketball skills, which brought his skills into full play and helped team go through the critical competitions. At this time, the major competitor faced by Shi-Jie and his team members was the team led by Lee Tien, the previous fighting brother of Ting-Wei. The team was constituted by a group of horrible men who were withstood to join any basketball games in the United States. They also bribed the referees, which made the basketball team of the first university become the living targets and face the situation of crushing defeat. When the situation was in danger, Wang-Li made great efforts to persuade four grand masters with excellent martial arts skills to take up a challenge at the last moment. I can say after the show, there are some parts that I don't like, but it still get 4 stars from me anyway.

Guns & Bloods Fly
The other day, I went to the cybercafe and had a game of Counter-Strike with Syariffuddin. It was so stupid. He just went around inside the airplane in the 747 map. When I saw him, I found out the I cannot shoot because my shoot command was fixed at the 'Enter' button. I got shot and lost. On the 2nd round, I went into the airplane and found him when he suddenly rush into me headlong. I just panicked slightly and shoot a great amount of bullet. That killed him. 3rd round commences, with the same thing happened as in the 2nd round. I won again. 4th round was my worst game ever. I was in the conveyer belt room when he came across me. He walked past me and we turned around to kill off each other. While shooting, we ran out of bullets at the same time. Syarif was quick enough to reload before I do, and he shot me and won that round. On the 5th round, the weird thing happened. I was at the luggage compartment, and he was at the staircase that comes down to here. I saw him first at the staircase, released a few shots and he did the same. He walked away for cover, while I went back down. Then he threw a grenade and it landed around 1.5 metres away from me. It should have killed me, but he died instead. It might have been due to the impact for standing above the explosion spot. So, the final score: Jay-3 Syarif-2
